    Executable documentation would seem to only be useful to someone who has the sourcecode.

    Can anyone speak to how these might be rendered in IL?

    Perhaps a sample reverse engineered to either Vb.Net or C#. I wonder if there is anything that could be spotted in the IL by Coderush to prompt a caller a binary written originally using oxygene

    I like the idea of shippping a 2nd version of software with better checks at the expense of performance.

    The assertions are just that, calls to Debug.Assert.
