Nice website, I was doing some internet snooping and stumbled upon your blog, I was wondering if you knew your blog is displaying unusually in the K-mellon internet browser. I will see everything however the graphics are one way or another out of whack. Probably not a huge issue since basically no one uses it anymore however I am old school and still use it.

The dumping process is a memory kernel dump you can go into settings and turn that off or set it not to do that
that will cause the blue screen every time it does it go to start then my computer the computer properties
the go to advanced tab then start up and recovery then at the bottom of the box you can set it not to dump anything just set it to none that should take care of that problem.

Hi all,

At this moment of writing i'm setting up a W7 unattended on to a Acer aoa 150 by a Wifi connection.
I use a PC, wireless router and the Acer :-)
Copying files is done an extraxting is running.
I did the dvd into my PC dvdrw and went to X:\Sources and from the Acer i ran the Setup.exe
I've splitted the 160Gb with Partition magic into:
1) ACER_LAPTOP_PQSERVICE0-1_Drive
2) ACER_LAPTOP_C_Drive
3) Self made partition for W7 of 50Gb

@ this mom the acer just rebooted and the W7 setup is continuing :-)

For so far this is my contribution to the story.
Tnx for reading.....

I upgraded to 1.5 gig RAM and 250 GIG HD.
Speed is not the issue. I get oversensitivity with the touchpad even with the latest Synaptec mouse driver. And I don't like operating the taskbar, start menu etc. on the tiny screen. And the cam. still doesn't work; a software issue. It was easier when I was running XP. Still there are some great new features.
I also have WIN 7 on a desktop, 64 bit processor. A different story, I like that one just fine.

I do not agree, I have had win7 on my AA1 - upgraded to 1.5GB - for about two months now and it works perfectly... it is ideal for the few things that I cannot use Ubuntu for :)

upgrade to 1.5 if you do not already and you will see the improvements...

OK I was fooled, but I'm fairly new at the game.
I still believe that Google Chrome will arrive, perhaps in a year. If there's a Beta version, it would make for a nice project. Win 7 seems not really optimal for a netbook.

Great post, love your analogy.

New media marketing is such a new field, there hasn't been enough time to do enough empirical research to really know what works. Instead, as you say, marketers see case studies of something that just happened to work, and mimic, without knowing what element of the strategy — or what environmental factors — were the reason for the case study's success.

In startup businesses, there's always so much pressure to take action — any action — in order to be seen to be doing something. A lot of money and time gets wasted on blind swings at something that might work. That's if you can know whether it worked or not — often goals haven't been defined and measurement hasn't been planned for.

"Are the investors happy we moved our knight? Yes? Then we're winning for the time-being!"
